Now with 162 tips!
Here are some sample dodging improvement mazes. Notice that the weapon spawn points are isolated. Refer back to General Tip 2 to see why.
Some more sample mazes. Feel free to adjust these however you like; I'm sure you can change a few things and they'll still be good practice for what they were originally meant for. Now, the leftmost maze is the aggressive maze. Trap your enemies as quickly as possible! The middle maze is meant to get you to practice defending a key area that will get attacked quite often. The rightmost is a bit of a mix. Use aggression to fight your way to the safe zone and then you can easily defend against enemies.
Improvement Tip 1: How to improve at General Tip 1: With a test tank, fire a bullet down a corridor at yourself right down the middle, then quickly go to the side to dodge the bullet. Practice doing this with the firing tank getting closer and closer each time until you have mastered/perfected this tactic.

Improvement Tip 2: How to improve at General Tip 3: Play on a maze/map which has lots of corners and long corridors. When you practice on this maze, there will be plenty of opportunities to test out this new tactic against Laika, or against a test tank if you have one. This can be a hard technique to master, as the timing must be exact, but it is very useful in games once it has been mastered.

Improvement Tip 3: It is important to have a standard tank and a practice tank. The reason has to do with custom mazes. You can save the best mazes--the ones you excel at--to your standard tank's maze collection. As for your test tank, you can save the mazes you need for practicing specific skills.
Improvement Tip 4: Try practicing a non-violence method. This is NOT a good tactic to use in proper games, but it really helps to improve your movement and bullet-dodging skills!

Improvement Tip 5: It is usually best to spread out your bullets quickly in different directions. But are you struggling with doing it quickly? Here's a tip to help you if you are! If you reverse into a wall at a small angle when you are firing, your tank slowly moves so that the bullets are all slightly spread out but still all going in the same general direction. This skill/tactic does take practice to perfect, but it is very useful once you have mastered it.

Improvement Tip 6: A good way to start learning how to dodge better is to figure out the timing. When bullets bounce in certain areas of the map, especially in corridors, their pattern can become very predictable. Choose a wall to lean against beforehand, and then go when the path is clear. Don't try to dodge bullets in the middle unless there's a lot of space or you really know what you're doing.
